Our concession stand offers a full-service menu with a wide variety of food and drinks from sweet to savory to satisfy your needs.
Outside food and beverages, as well as coolers, are NOT allowed in the park. The only exception is birthday cakes/cupcakes/cookies for booked parties.
We do suggest you wear comfortable sandals or aqua shoes; however, shoes are not allowed on any of our slides. We don’t recommend street shoes. “Heely” and “Rollies” style shoes are not permitted. Wheels must be removed from or retracted into shoes.
As with any outdoor park, our concrete does get quite hot. For our guests’ comfort we strongly recommend water shoes, flip flops or sandals. No shoes can we worn on any of our slides.
Our bathhouse is equipped with both men’s and women’s showers and changing facilities, as well as three individual changing rooms and two family changing rooms with showers and toilets.
Lockers are available and located right outside the bathhouse. Lockers are one token per use. One token costs $1.00.
River Rapids Waterpark provides tubes free of charge for all attractions that require a tube.
Parking is FREE!
Please bring your own beach towels. Should you forget, we do have towels and other essentials available for purchase at the retail stand.
We do not provide life jackets. You are welcome to bring your own U.S. Coast Guard-approved life jacket. Depending on availability, U.S. Coast Guard-approved puddle jumpers are available for purchase at the retail stand.
If your small child gets lost, please go to Guest Services or contact the nearest staff member immediately. To avoid becoming separated from your party, make arrangements to meet at a designated area before you begin your day.
In order to provide an enjoyable experience for all of our guests, appropriate swim attire is required while in the park
NOT ALLOWED: cut-off denim or jean shorts, provocative, thong or thong-like bathing suits, swim attire with rivets, buckles, belts or metal ornaments (as they can cause damage to the equipment).
Appropriate swim attire rules are strictly enforced. Failure to comply with any part of the dress code may result in ejection from the park without refund.
Children who require diapers must wear a swim diaper while in the water park. Forgot the swim diapers? We sell swim diapers in our retail stand.
Foul language and unruly behavior will not be tolerated. No alcohol, weapons, knives or firearms are allowed on the premises. No running, spitting, or throwing of objects permitted. No solicitation or distribution of any literature on park property is allowed.
MasterCard, Visa and Discover are honored at the ticket stand, retail shop, & concession stand. The Lemon Shake-Up stand is cash only.
We currently do not have an ATM on-site.
Outside rafts or tubes are not allowed. Only life jackets that are Coast Guard approved are allowed.
Bringing a group? If you are planning to purchase 20 or more tickets, be sure to call one week ahead to schedule your group. Only a limited amount of group discounts are available per day.
All water slides require a minimum height of 48″.
No one over 48” is allowed in the Kid Zone unless supervising a child under the 48” height.
River Rapids Waterpark is committed to ensure the safety of our guests. The park employs Starguard-certified lifeguards.
River Rapids Waterpark and the entire surrounding property owned by the Sainte Genevieve County Community Center is a tobacco-free campus. This includes cigarettes/cigars, chewing tobacco and vaping devices.

Anyone under the age of 13 must have a legal guardian aged 16 or older with them to enter the waterpark.
No outside food or drink (or coolers of any type) is allowed. Once you’ve entered the park, you may return to your car, however there is a 15-minute time limit. Once the time has passed, you will be required to pay to re-enter the park. Season pass owners have unlimited in/out privileges.

If you are in the park for less than 2 hours and present you paid receipt for that day, you will receive a rainy-day pass to return a different day. If you have been at the park for 2 hours or more then there are no refunds issued.
We offer a zero entry area to our Lazy River and Kid Zone. This style of entry removes obstacles and creates wheelchair accessibility. There are 2 chair lifts located in the waterpark. One in the lap pool and one in the lazy river.
